What is Smart Creator Press?
Smart Creator Press (SCP) is a WordPress plugin for selling courses, memberships, coaching, communities and digital products from your own site. It runs the course, the checkout with order bumps and upsells, the funnels, your affiliate program, your emails and your store, so you don't have to connect a separate tool for each one.
Is Smart Creator Press a WordPress plugin or a hosted platform?
It's a WordPress plugin. You install it on your own WordPress site, so your courses, members and customer data stay on your site and your hosting.
Who should use Smart Creator Press?
Course creators, coaches, membership owners and anyone selling digital products who wants to run it all on their own WordPress site instead of paying a hosted platform every month. It's also a good fit if you're on DAP or MemberPress today, since there are step-by-step guides for moving over.

What's the difference between Just the Plugins and SMART All Access?
Both include every SMART plugin. All Access adds your own iOS and Android member app, VIP access, SCP certification, courses, 1:1 coaching and a private community, and covers 3 sites on the yearly plan or 2 on the monthly plan. Pick Just the Plugins if you only need the software or need 5 sites.
Does Smart Creator Press take a cut of my sales?
No. SCP doesn't add any transaction fee. Buyers pay through your own Stripe or PayPal account, so the only fees are Stripe's or PayPal's normal processing fees.
Which payment gateways does it support?
Stripe and PayPal. Setup guides for both are in the SCP documentation: Stripe setup and PayPal setup.
What do I need to get started?
A self-hosted WordPress site where you're an admin, and a Stripe or PayPal account to take payments. Download SCP from your WickedCoolPlugins.com account, upload it under Plugins → Add New, and enter your license key under SCP → Settings → License. SCP then creates the login, registration, checkout and dashboard pages for you. The installation guide walks through every step.
Do I need technical experience to use Smart Creator Press?
No coding is needed. If you can install a WordPress plugin, you can set up SCP. The first time you open it, it walks you through the Getting Started steps and creates the pages you need, and the documentation covers each feature step by step. If you'd rather have help, SMART All Access includes 1:1 coaching and the SCP certification.
Will it work with my theme or page builder?
Yes. Sell from SCP's built-in product page, or build your own sales page with Elementor, Divi or any page builder and set it as the Sales Page URL in Product Builder → Settings (how it works). If "Edit with Elementor" or "Edit with Divi" doesn't show on a course, lesson or product, turn on those post types in your builder's settings (quick fix).
Can Smart Creator Press handle a growing student base?
Yes. SCP runs on your own WordPress hosting and its plans are priced by number of sites, not by number of students, so you don't move up a tier as you grow. What sets your capacity is your hosting plan. As traffic grows, upgrade your hosting and follow the safe caching settings for SCP.
What reports and analytics does Smart Creator Press include?
The dashboard shows total sales, revenue, refunds and net revenue, monthly sales for the last 12 months, your membership mix, top products and customers, and how your funnels and order bumps are converting. The members table shows who's subscribed, who lapsed and what each person can access. You can also track campaigns with UTM parameters and send purchase events to Facebook.
Can I move over from MemberPress, DAP or another platform?
Yes. There are step-by-step guides for migrating from MemberPress and from DigitalAccessPass (DAP), for moving PayPal subscriptions, and for connecting your existing Stripe subscriptions to SCP.
Does it work with my email platform?
Yes. It connects directly to ActiveCampaign, AWeber, Mailchimp, Kit (ConvertKit), Brevo, MailerLite, Klaviyo, GetResponse, HubSpot, SendFox, Moosend, VBOUT, Acumbamail, FluentCRM and MailPoet. It also works with Zapier, Pabbly Connect, Integrately, Encharge, KonnectzIT, SyncSpider, Autonami and GoHighLevel, and anything else can connect by webhook. SCP also has its own autoresponder and broadcasts if you'd rather not use an outside tool.
Can I sell through WooCommerce or another cart and still use SCP for access?
Yes. A paid WooCommerce order or a quiz result can give access in SCP, and so can a webhook from another cart like ThriveCart or Shopify (inbound automation guide). Access is removed when the other platform sends a cancel or refund webhook. A WooCommerce refund doesn't remove access on its own, so remove it in SCP after you refund.
